Not sure if you've heard of this, but in May VISA announced that they are coming out with a synchronized digital ID card that merges all bank accounts into one card, verification numbers are to be replaced with biometrics, and AI will learn users purchasing habits. This is of course in preparation for the CBDCs and tokenization. They also place a big emphasis on tokenizing their transactions with 29% of theirs already actively being tokenized.
